Review Requirements and Submit an Application

Proof of Vaccines
- Rabies ( 1 or 3 year Required)
- DHPP/DAPP (1 or 3 year Required)
- Bordetella ( 6 Month Required)
- Canine influenza h3n2 & h3n8 vaccine (Recommended)
Bordetella protects against various strains of kennel cough (common dog cold), a highly contagious airborne illness. We require the 6-month vaccine due to rapid virus changes and close dog contact. Not 100% effective, but it helps.
Spayed/Neutered
Dogs 7 months and older must be spayed or neutered.

Under the age of 12
We welcome pups up to age 12. This policy helps ensure every pup is comfortable as senior dogs often don’t thrive in our fast-paced, playful environment.
Flea and Tick Medication Needed
Must be current on flea and tick medication (year long)
Rescues/Adopted Dogs
There is a waiting period of 30-90 days after adoption.
Seizure and Needle Medication
We cannot accommodate dogs needing seizure or injectable medications.
Complete the application and email it along with proof of vaccinations to info@doghousecamarillo.com or drop it off. We will review your information and contact you with any questions. If it’s a good fit, we’ll reach out to schedule your free assessment.
